A National Treasure on the Northeastside
Hidden between 56th Street and the wooded bends of Fall Creek, Brendonwood—often called Brendonwood Common—is one of Indianapolis’ most extraordinary residential communities. Founded in 1917 by Charles S. Lewis and master-planned by legendary landscape architect George Kessler, this 350-acre private residential park was designed as a retreat long before suburban living became fashionable.
With just over 100 homes spread across rolling hills, deep ravines, and a private nine-hole golf course, Brendonwood feels timeless and intentionally secluded. Tudor Revivals, stately Colonials, and architecturally significant mid-century homes sit quietly among mature oaks and maples, each one a contributing piece of a National Historic District.
At Elite Pro Painting, we understand that painting a home in Brendonwood is not routine maintenance. It’s stewardship. As a family-owned Central Indiana painting company, we bring the patience, technical discipline, and historical respect required to preserve one of Indianapolis’ most important neighborhoods.
